A Flag for Orlando

On Friday, I will be collaborating not with a person but with an item- an enormous flag made to honor the victims of the Orlando shooting. The flag bears the names of the 50 victims of the shooting and is flooded with words penned by the many people who were present at the vigil at City Hall here in Los Angeles last week. On Friday, at the historic Montalban Theatre alongside some tremendously talented queer artists, I will be presenting the flag for the last time before it is given to an LGBTQAI* archive here in Los Angeles.
